The immune boost smoothie is perfect for those horrible non-colds that appear during mezzo tempo or change of season — not quite a cold, not quite an allergy, something in the sinuses that refuses to go away. This smoothie is my own invention and I swear by it. Although citrus fruits such as grapefruits, oranges, and lemons are the usual suspects for high vitamin C content, pineapple is also great for its immune support.
